Our Mission

Cornerstone Mission Statement:

The Mission of Cornerstone of Lakewood Ranch is to bring people to maturity in Christ through the worship and ministry of the Body of Christ to individuals and families, helping them to apply Christ’s Lordship to every sphere of life and to multiply themselves until the earth is filled with the glory of God.

A mature Christian is someone who:

• knows God and grows in knowledge

• loves and exhibits that love in community of the church

• exhibits holiness

• fulfills responsibilities in relationships outside the church

• is armed for warfare

Long Haul Youth Ministry Mission Statement: 

The mission of The Long Haul Youth Ministry is to encourage and assist students in life-long pursuit of maturity in Christ through connection to God and his Word by means of worship, study, ministry, fellowship, and outreach.

We are here to connect students to God and each other through application of the Bible so they follow Christ.

Small Group Ministry:

Romans 12:2 Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is-- his good, pleasing and perfect will.
